Coming up in March, I will be leading a workshop called “First Lines,” where we’ll have some fun looking at the opening lines for several novels. After that bit of warming up, the real focus will be your own first lines. We’ll have some exercises for brainstorming, or at least getting fired up about your writing project. There will be some time set aside to write and share, so please bring a notebook and pen, or your laptop. All this takes place in a free program at the Bear (Delaware) Public Library on Saturday, March 25, from 2-3 pm. Hope to see you as we get excited about putting pen to paper.
